PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Pearson Education, Upper Saddle River, NJ

Assistant Editor (February 2013–present)

· For the Editorial group, created and edited Excel spreadsheets for planning and tracking production of 80   separate secondary language arts supplementary components for print and online delivery

· Located, pulled, and organized PDF files to be revised for new edition of Pearson Literature program

· For the Technology group, amended filenames of PDF documents to an in-house standard file-naming convention

· Performed quality assurance for text and audio versions of literature selections

Archival Volunteer (July 2009–present)

· Created metadata for their cemetery maps and veteran cards using CONTENTdm

· Processed several collections of various sizes, including fragile documents and film slides

   Project Archivist (New York State Archives Grant Funded Position, April–June 2012)

· Processed 6,000 photographs of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge; co-wrote finding

· Performed several inventories, including one for their nitrate film and A/V collection

· Entered metadata for each collection processed and inventoried into Excel

· Updated collection with four cubic feet of new materials and re-ordered new supplies
