How would you consider the investment of your degree?

I came across this article a few days ago.  It’s a counter argument to a article written by Forbes about a year ago.

First off, while yes a master’s is an investment and due diligence must be taken to ensure that it will be a good fit for the person.  I personally could never imagine myself as a Physician Assistant. The stress such a position would place on me would far out outweigh any increase in salary.  A degree is a gateway to a career path and it must be a path a person is happy with despite whatever opinions others might have of it.

Second, I think the counter article does a good job in pointing out the variety of jobs Library Science Degree holders can pursue. While this may be optimistic, I do think that in the coming years as the economy heals businesses will realize the importance of information and this degree will be in more of a demand.
